Equine Health

Along with veterinary administered vaccinations, and a good conversation, we can treat many equine issues in our practice. A Coggin’s test should be performed annually if your horse travels, or is regularly exposed to other horses. Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) has been reported in Colorado, and a current negative test may be required at certain venues.

Should your horse be acting a little off, or come up lame, we are here to help. We have a certified technician experienced in equine radiography (x-rays) and many years of experience between the team members.

Remember, horses always need access to clean, fresh water and too much green grass this time of year may not be a good thing!

Horses are extremely susceptible to rabies due to their curious nature. An annual veterinarian-administered rabies vaccination could avoid a potentially disastrous situation.
